Strawberry Shortcake

Introduced in "The World of Strawberry Shortcake"  in the 1980.
Often seen wearing a pink hat with strawberries printed on it. In the 1980s version of the franchise, she lives in a shortcake, while in the year 2000, she lives in a strawberry.

She shares her strawberry house with her little sister Apple Dumplin', her cat Custard and her dog Pupcake. Many of Strawberry Shortcake’s days are spent in the simple pleasures of tending berry vines. Strawberry also likes to spend time with her friends, so she frequently visits nearby lands. Strawberry is always cheerful and is ready for helping her friends at any time. Her filly is Honey Pie Pony.
 

Apple Dumplin

Apple Dumplin' is Strawberry Shortcake's baby sister, living with Strawberry in her berry-shaped cottage.  She has an impressive vocabulary for her age, but is unable to write. Apple has also proven to be more than capable of taking care of herself. Her pet used to be Tea Time Turtle but in the year 2000 it was replaced with Apple Ducklin'
 

Huckleberry Pie

Introduced in "The World of Strawberry Shortcake" (1980). One of Strawberry Shortcake's friends, Huckleberry Pie is, Huck lives in a fort in a place called Huckleberry Briar. His wild abode features a skate park full of ramps and secret entrances, a testament to him being a skateboarder. His pet is Shoofly Frog and his filly is Huckleberry Hash.

Blueberry Muffin

Blueberry Muffin has been Strawberry Shortcake's friend since the very beginning. In the 1980s, the character was depicted with blue hair in pigtails. Speaking with a Southern drawl, she was also characterized as being more than a little forgetful. Blueberry Muffin has been re-imagined as a book-loving dramatist, who lives in a muffin-shaped cottage in Blueberry Valley. Her hair was also altered to an uncharacteristic brown color, but she has since re-instated her trademark blue hair.
Her pet is Cheesecake Mouse and her filly is Blueberry Sundae.

Raspberry Tart / Torte

Another of Strawberry Shortcake's earliest friends, Raspberry Tart lived up to her name in the 1980s, a tart-tongued individual with a gift for a cutting remark! She was considered really more thoughtless by her friends. Her last name was altered to "Torte" in 2000.   She is generally seen as the athletic and fitness fanatic of Strawberryland. Her home was is called Raspberry Meadows. Her pet in the 1980s was a monkey called Rhubarb, it is now a Raccoon with the same name. Her filly is Raspberry Ripple.

Plum-Puddin

The last of Strawberry Shortcake's Original 1980s friends, Plum Puddin' was the bespectacled genius of the group. Plum Puddin' is also a bit of a walking disaster.
Her home was is called Raspberry Meadows. Her pet is Elderberry Owl. Her filly is Thunder.

Orange Blossom

Strawberry Shortcake met urban artist Orange Blossom during her trip to Big Apple City in 1981. Orange Blossom followed Strawberry home at the conclusion of her trip, and has been at her side ever since. Orange Blossom manages Orange Blossom Acres, and lives in an orange-shaped tree house high in one of her trees. She retains her status as front and center in Strawberry Shortcake's close circle of friends.

Her pet is Marmalade Butterfly. Her filly is Orange Twist.

Lemon Meringue

Introduced in "Strawberry Shortcake in Big Apple City" (1981).
Another of Strawberry Shortcake's new friends from her trip to Big Apple City, Lemon Meringue is a primping beauty known around the city as a famous model. In the 2000s, her leanings towards style and glamor remain, in that she runs a beauty salon out of her home on Lemon Lane in Strawberryland. Her pet, in the 1980s is an incongruous frog named Frappe', but in 2000 it change into a yellow skunk named Sourball. Her filly is Lemon Ice / Daffodil.

 Angel Cake

Introduced in "Strawberry Shortcake: Pets on Parade" (1982).  Angel Cake's hair was often depicted as a lavender color in print and on television, but the dolls and toys made by Kenner had white hair.  In 2000, the new Angel Cake is blonde and possesses a tremendous talent for cake decoration. However she is also known to be a perfectionist. Her neighborhood in Strawberryland is called Cakewalk, and is a frosting-coated layer cake testament to her abilities. In the 1980s her pet is Souffle' skunk but  in 2000, her pet  is a lamb called Vanilla Icing. Her filly is Milkshake.

Almond Tea / Tea Blossom

Introduced in 1983 - "Strawberry Shortcake's Housewarming Surprise". Almond Tea was one of the many new friends met by Strawberry Shortcake during her trip around the world in 1983. A native of the Asian country of China Cup, Almond Tea returned the favor and visited Strawberryland to help Strawberry Shortcake celebrate her move into her Berry Happy Home with a huge housewarming party. Almond Tea's character returned for Strawberry's 2006 "A World of Friends" campaign. Now called Tea Blossom, her home is in the Plum Blossom Province, near The Great Wall of Chocolate. Her pet  is Marza Panda.

 Crepes' Suzette

Introduced in 1983 on "Strawberry Shortcake's Housewarming Surprise". In the 1980s, her hair was short, curly and dark blue. Nowadays, the fashion designer sports long, wavy pink locks. She speaks French and English.  She operates a chic boutique in the heart of Pearis, France when she is not visiting Strawberry Shortcake at her home in Strawberryland. Her pet is Eclair Poodle.

Ginger Snap

Introduced in "Meet Strawberry Shortcake" (2003). Ginger Snap is an expert inventor, and purveyor of every known kind of cookie. Her massive gingerbread factory in Cookie Corners combines these two interests neatly. Her pet is Chocolate Chipmunk and her filly is Cookie Dough.

Rainbow Sherbet

Introduced in the Strawberry World in 2005 at "Seaberry Beach Party". Rainbow Sherbet is a seafaring girl. She is captain of the Rainbow Float, an ornate paddle boat on the Punch Bowl Pond. Her pet is Triple Ripple Toucan and her filly is Butter Pecan.

Peppermint Fizz

Introduced in  Strawberry World in 2004 - "Best Pets Yet". Peppermint Fizz is an argumentative trouble-making girl. Conniving, manipulative and greedy, she epitomizes every bad quality that a child might possess. But still Strawberry Shortcake sees whatever good might lurk beneath the sour surface, and does her best to cultivate goodness in her. She lives in Peppermint Place. Her pet is Cola Chameleon and her filly is Cherry Vanilla.

Tangerina Torta

Tangerina Torta was introduced in 2006 on the "World of Friends". She lives in a tree-house cabin  with giant tangerine sections in the Tangerine Bosque, a beautiful tropical rain forest. She is a dreamer and knowledgeable  about the nature. Tangerina has a pet monkey called Banana Bongo.

Frosty Puff

Frosty Puff was introduced in the year 2006 on the "World of Friends". Frosty Puff, a warm-hearted girl from icy-cold Niceland, was one of these new foreign friends. Although it is not obvious by her cold-weather appearance and attire, Frosty Puff's scent is that of Blackberries, a first in the American Strawberry Shortcake line. She makes the best frozen dessert treats. She lives in  a house that is a big two-scoop ice cream in Niceland and her pet is Freezer Pop Penguin.

Seaberry Delight

Seaberry Delight was introduced in the year 2005 on the "Seaberry Beach Party". Seaberry Delight lives in Seaberry Sea in a shell-shaped cottage in a secret grotto off of Seaberry Shore. She is a fantastic swimmer. Seaberry loves the water so much, she was mistaken for a mermaid when first encountered by Strawberry Shortcake and her friends. She grows seaberries and shares them with the her fish friends, the Sea Sweeties. Her pet is Kiwi Sea Turtle and her filly is Pistachio.

Coco Calypso

Coco Calypso was introduced in the year 2005 on the "Seaberry Beach Party". She lives in a beautiful tropical home on Seaberry Shore. She loves to throw beach parties and also plays the guitar. She and Seaberry Delight  became close friends since they live near each other. Her pet is Papaya Parrot and her filly is Spumoni.

 Apricot

Introduced in "Let's Dance / Meet Apricot" (2007). Apricot is the new girl in Strawberryland who lives in an apricot cottage. She may be just a bit younger than the other Strawberry girls, but she has huge aspirations to try everything they do. Apricot has quite the imagination, and she's super-sweet girl. Her pet is Hopsalot Bunny and her filly is Buttecup.

        Hai, nama aku Reny Diastri Noviriana. Cukup panggil aja Reny. Ini blog aku yang baru, sebelumnya aku udah punya blog dengan alamat http://reny-diastri.blogspot.com/

    Aku sekarang sudah SMA, baru lulus kemarin ^_^. Sekarang umurku 15 tahun, tepat di bulan november nanti usiaku genap 16 tahun.

Aku buat blog ini iseng aja, eh liat temen-temenku pada punya blog aku jadi ikut-ikutan bikin :D

Sekarang aku suka banget utak atik blog ku ini, habis seru sih.. Kalo aku udah didepan laptop, udah deh ga inget waktu... :D

Asal Mula Boneka Barbie :3

      Ruth Handler menyaksikan putrinya Barbara di bermain dengan boneka kertas, dan menyadari bahwa ia sering dinikmati memberikan peran orang dewasa. Pada saat itu, boneka mainan anak-anak kebanyakan adalah representasi dari bayi. Menyadari bahwa mungkin ada celah di pasar, Handler mengusulkan ide sebuah boneka dewasa bertubuh untuk suaminya Elliot, co-pendiri perusahaan mainan Mattel. Dia tidak antusias tentang ide, seperti juga direktur Mattel.

    Selama perjalanan ke Eropa pada tahun 1956 dengan anak-anaknya Barbara dan Kenneth, Ruth Handler menemukan sebuah boneka Jerman bernama Bild mainan Lilli. Boneka dewasa-pikir Lilli seperti apa Handler yang ada dalam pikiran, jadi dia membeli tiga dari mereka. Dia memberikan satu untuk anaknya dan mengambil yang lain kembali ke Mattel. Lilli boneka didasarkan pada karakter populer muncul dalam komik strip diambil oleh Reinhard Beuthin untuk Die koran Bild-Zeitung.

    Setelah kembali ke Amerika Serikat, Handler reworked desain dari boneka (dengan bantuan dari insinyur Jack Ryan) dan boneka diberi nama, Barbie, setelah putrinya Barbara Handler. Boneka membuat debut di American International Toy Fair di New York pada tanggal 9 Maret 1959. Tanggal ini juga digunakan sebagai hari ulang tahun resmi Barbie. Mattel memperoleh hak kepada Bild Lilli boneka pada tahun 1964 dan produksi Lilli berhenti. Boneka Barbie pertama mengenakan baju renang hitam dan putih zebra bergaris-garis dan tanda tangan ekor kuda jambul, dan tersedia baik sebagai pirang atau berambut cokelat. Boneka dipasarkan sebagai "Model Remaja usia Mode," dengan pakaian yang dibuat oleh Mattel perancang busana Charlotte Johnson. Boneka Barbie pertama yang diproduksi di Jepang, dengan pakaian mereka tangan-dijahit oleh pekerja rumahan Jepang. Sekitar 350.000 boneka Barbie yang dijual selama tahun pertama produksi.

    Barbie adalah salah satu mainan pertama untuk memiliki strategi pemasaran berbasis ekstensif pada iklan televisi, yang telah disalin secara luas oleh mainan lainnya. Dalam serangkaian novel diterbitkan oleh Random House pada tahun 1960, nama orangtuanya diberikan sebagai George dan Margaret Roberts dari kota fiksi Willows, Wisconsin. Barbie telah mengatakan untuk menghadiri Willows High School dan Manhattan Sekolah Tinggi Internasional di New York City, didasarkan pada kehidupan nyata Sekolah Tinggi Stuyvesant.

    Hari ini garis Barbie adalah bertanggung jawab untuk lebih dari 80% dari laba Mattel.
